This is what your support helps build. LCRF is designing its first pilot program: a structured, three-stage path that helps girls transition from institutional care into stable, independent adulthood. The design is still being finalized ahead of a planned 2027 launch, but the general shape of the work is set.
Retention Support
STAGE 1
Helping girls stay in school and complete grades 10 through 12 while still in Aarti’s care, through consistent academic and personal support designed to see them through to graduation. This stage focuses on building confidence, strengthening educational foundations, and ensuring each girl has the encouragement, resources, and stability needed to prepare for the next step in her journey.
Skilling & Placement
STAGE 2
Vocational training and job placement support as girls prepare to leave care, connecting them to real employment pathways suited to their skills and goals. This stage also helps girls secure essential legal documentation, such as birth certificates and identification, needed to move confidently into independent adulthood.
Post-Placement Support
STAGE 3
Ongoing contact and support after placement, with check-ins at three, six, and twelve months, so leaving care doesn’t mean losing support all at once. This stage helps young women navigate the realities of independent adulthood by offering continued guidance and problem-solving support as they adjust to new environments, responsibilities, and long-term goals.
